I would like to personally extend a congratulations to uncle Kenny for having our first single engine beechjunk flameout. For all you flex guys flying the 300 I'd start studying up on dual engine flameouts after his substandard mx crews get a hold of your birds. It's the Ricci way. Wait till you see his mechanics come out to fix your airplane with a pipe wrench. You think I'm joking, just wait.

you do not know crap about jets, so shut up

OK professor, then you can instruct us all on how the FJ44-3ap engine is anti-iced / deiced. What is heated and what is not, what is always heated and what is selectively heated. Since no one but Dingo221 knows crap about jets, we will assume that the nose cone on fan is always heated, while the temp probes are selectively heated along with the inlet lip and .....?

If they deviated around weather at a high altitude without selecting engine heat on, perhaps they collected ice on various parts of the unheated engine which during descent were then (possibly) ingested into the engine. Just a guess, and in the absence in of any other information as to what caused a flame out, its a good guess.

Could have been fuel icing, could have been fuel starvation, or just plain mechanical failure. Fuel pumps are mechanical devices, and unless its a venturi pump it is subject to failure.

Or maybe a pilot shut it down due to low oil pressure or a fire indication, or he just wanted to save some fuel. :0

Dingo221, what did we miss genius?

Haha

Newkem, you do not know crap about jets, so shut up

We have identified the forum expert /knowitall and that person is?

Dicko221!

So explain to us undereducated professional turbine powered aircraft drivers exactly what happened.
