How many military trained pilots does it take to fly an airplane? ONE,,, and about 30 enlisted men to actually make it happen. There's a good reason civilian contractors fly most of the heavy but essential cargo for the military. Because those socialist military pilots can't fly weather without all of that backup.

Do you have thread confusion, doesn't this belong someeplace else?

BTW I didn't have 30 enlisted men helping me, I only had 10, plus three other officers, shows what you know.

Most unions have outlived their usefulness and have become nothing more than businesses supporting their executive leaderships monetary desire. Look at the salaries of ALPA union leadership and support staff versus the pilots.

I wish I could disagree with this, but it's pretty much true under the current administration. Thankfully Moak is on his way out, and there is a much better alternative being offered who would shift the union back towards actually acting like a union instead of the A4A's servant boy.

Most of the problems with aviation can be directly tied to the voting habits of most pilots. In 2000, 75% of the political campaign donations from AA pilots went to bush and republicans who used their positions to destroy labour when ever possible. Now, why should I ever respect an AA picket line?
