How does a company that has $350 million in cash, of which $197 million is restricted, pay for 40 aircraft that cost $3.06 billion, $6.34 billion if all 80 are delivered, without selling something?

They don't pay for them until deliveries begin no earlier than FIVE YEARS from now?

If Republic last till 2015. Buying fuel with no hedgeing, and running the reservation centers, and they know the cancellation from several carriers is just a matter of time.

Maybe you could hire back all those Midwest pilots your management laid off. They should all be captains !!

Republic Sucks !!

Hmmmm 1200 hours. You da man!

Actually, I'll wager Bombadier will be paying THEM which I think is what their CFO meant when he said this deal will be cash positive for the first three years. (none of it's real money anyway)

As distasteful as it is to disaagree with a Repubic admirer, they do, in fact, hedge a certain amount of fuel.

Does "if you can'nt beat em join em" sound right for a situation such as this? It would seem like either sit around and complain or re readjust to the "new" norm.

Let see, the new planes come on line 2015, the Airbus leases are up in 2015..

Things that make you think.

Bryan never lies does he?
