Republic Airways Holdings has 3 subsidiaries: Chautauqua Airlines who operates 94 ERJ-145 family aircraft (37 to 50 seat), and 24 CRJ-200 (50 seat aircraft). Shuttle America operates the ERJ-170. Republic operate the ERJ-170 and ERJ-175. Shuttle and Republic operate 101 ERJ-170/175 aircraft between them.

Beginning Sept 2008 15 ERJ-135 will be retired and sold to European operater at a rate of 2 aircraft per month. 24 CRJ-200 will be returned to lessor beginning 4th quarter 2008 through 2010.
Options on 74 ERJ-170 aircraft that can be converted to ERJ-175/190/195 ranging from 78 to 110 seats.
Dec 31, 2007 RAH had $164 million in the bank after spending $142 million to buy back stock on the open market. The BOD has also approved the buy back of an additional $100 million in stock. Profits in 2007 were just under $83 million, with net cash from operations of $280 million (funny how all that depreciation hides the real money trail).
Whore jets rule!!!
Cant wait to under cut you at my next airline. I win bitches.
I"m going to under cut you so much that the price of fuel won't even count!!
Good luck weirdos.
Thanks all,
So.....Just checking my math here,
Only 16 E-170 100's-to be transfered to 200's-are operated for Delta.
Right?
I know this info has already been discussed here, I'm just to lazy to do a search!
How many Frontier planes are getting parked?
What does the rumor mill say will happen to them?
Delta/NWA, or United? New customer?
Thanks.
The is no such thing as a 170-100 or 200....

OK, so, the 170/175s operated by RAH for USair are under "brickyard" and "shuttle" for DL, correct?
Management is spreading a gloom and doom message (we are in contract talks) and furloughs or out of senority terminations may be around the corner.
Republic has 32 170's and 34 175's 2 or 3 more 175's are still coming for Republic for UsAir flying.
Shuttle has about 44 170's most are for United and I think 15-or 16 are for Delta. Shuttle is starting to take delivery of 175's in the 76 seat configuration starting I believe next month. As the 175's for shuttle start coming online the Delta 170's will be moved over to United flying. My numbers are a rough estimate I could be off a little.
This could possibly be bad news for someone..... The new TA says that there will be a maximum of 120 71-76 seat aircraft. Compass has 36, Mesaba has 36, Pinnacle has 15, Mesa has 15, and Republic has 16?. That's 118. How many do Comair, Skywest/ASA have?

I look at it this way. Things are going to get really really good for the regionals or really really bad. It's a 50/50 shot, who knows. I am staying positive but these "B!itch boards are tough to stay that way. This could possibly be bad news for someone..... The new TA says that there will be a maximum of 120 71-76 seat aircraft. You Sir are correct, Republic fly's for UsAir callsign Brickyard. Shuttle fly's for United and Delta. Shuttle's Callsign is "Mercury".OK, so, the 170/175s operated by RAH for USair are under "brickyard" and "shuttle" for DL, correct?
What's your callsign Schmuck!! Cessna 12345. Seminol OU812.Well Brickyard is one way of saying it... or Blockyard or Dickyard....
You sound like you know your stuff. However I would also ask you to look into the agreements with mainline. Right now as already mentioned the new TA with DAL would mean someone is going to be left out. In addition the Airways agreement already has been exceeded. Therefore your saying you are going to place 13 new airframes with Airways is far off. Especially with the reductions happening at all Airways Express Carriers. I dont know for certain but I think your information was pre $141 a barrel oil.
As already mentioned look at PIT. How many planes are parked up there? Also you are all saying "oh its because we are in contract talks our mgt is threatening us." You also might want to realize its a new industry. You all expanded like mad and now cuts are happening. Its very possible for you all to lose flying. DAL can do stuff cheaper with Comair. If NWA/DAL does go through they already have Compass and Mesaba and Pinnacle to do flying. All of which do it at a cheaper price then you all. In addition the movement of Airways by Parker is to move the flying to PDT/PSA. Again we will see if that happens but again I stress your info seems to be the pre $140 a barrel state we are currently in. Also Airways will not allow ANY more planes into the express system. Mainline is already reduced as far as it can be thus the ratio of express/mainline planes is staying how it is right now unless mainline gets more planes. And I think we can all agree that isnt happening.
You can think what you want, but that doesn't mean it is fact.I don't have the numbers but i doubt that Comair, Compass, Mesaba, or Pinchanickle are any cheaper than us....
What's your callsign Schmuck!! ...
Compass = new, way cheaperI don't have the numbers but i doubt that Comair, Compass, Mesaba, or Pinchanickle are any cheaper than us....
This is for all you Republic guys that haven't been there very long (under 5 years). When Chautauqua decided to park the Saabs, they fired every single probationary pilot on the Saab and let junior pilots on the 145 keep their jobs. Bedford was the CEO when this happened. During contract negotiations, they furloughed about 50 pilots for no reason other than to try and achieve some leverage. I am sure you have seen how the company treats displacements. There was an upgrade award out of seniority, then they tried to get us to pass a LOA allowing it after the fact. This same LOA was going to decrease the days off to 11 days a month. The sad thing is only about a third of the pilot group voted and of those, 20 percent voted for the LOA. This list goes on and on. My point is Republic is not a super company that can do no wrong. Bedford and company have wronged pilots before, and they will wrong pilots again especially if it affects the bottom line.
What's your callsign Schmuck!! Cessna 12345. Seminol OU812.Oh yeah your on the CRJ so you must have come right out of a 152 into the Jet. The accadamy sill sending you the koolaid to your mommy and daddy's house so you can grow up big and strong??
uke:
