How many E-170 and or E-175's does Republic or Shuttle America operate for Delta?

Please Explain the Republic/Shuttle connection.

Does Shuttle operate the 170's and Republic the 175's?

Thanks

Republic has 32 170's and 34 175's 2 or 3 more 175's are still coming for Republic for UsAir flying.
Shuttle has about 44 170's most are for United and I think 15-or 16 are for Delta. Shuttle is starting to take delivery of 175's in the 76 seat configuration starting I believe next month. As the 175's for shuttle start coming online the Delta 170's will be moved over to United flying. My numbers are a rough estimate I could be off a little.

Republic Airways Holdings has 3 subsidiaries: Chautauqua Airlines who operates 94 ERJ-145 family aircraft (37 to 50 seat), and 24 CRJ-200 (50 seat aircraft). Shuttle America operates the ERJ-170. Republic operate the ERJ-170 and ERJ-175. Shuttle and Republic operate 101 ERJ-170/175 aircraft between them.

29 firm new orders: 16 ERJ-170s will be replaced with 16 new ERJ-175s between July and March 2009. 10 of these removed aircraft will transition over to United flying. 13 new ERJ-175s will be sent to Republic for US Airways duty.

Beginning Sept 2008 15 ERJ-135 will be retired and sold to European operater at a rate of 2 aircraft per month. 24 CRJ-200 will be returned to lessor beginning 4th quarter 2008 through 2010.

Options on 74 ERJ-170 aircraft that can be converted to ERJ-175/190/195 ranging from 78 to 110 seats.

Dec 31, 2007 RAH had $164 million in the bank after spending $142 million to buy back stock on the open market. The BOD has also approved the buy back of an additional $100 million in stock. Profits in 2007 were just under $83 million, with net cash from operations of $280 million (funny how all that depreciation hides the real money trail).

Depreciation expense--The allocation of a portion of the cost of a capital asset, over it's useful life, which is applied as an expense in a given period that the capital asset was used to earn revenues. This concept matches expenses to the revenues earned in a given tax year. The method of depreciation and useful life are determined by IRS rules and are applied using general accounting principles to compute taxable income for a given period of time--the tax year.

In the airline business, you have to purchase or lease airplanes (capital assets) to carry passengers to earn revenues. If you purchase, then it only makes sense to apply a portion of the cost of the capital asset against revenues earned. Otherwise, you would be paying taxes on a higher amount. If you lease, then the lease payments are an expense that are applied against revenues for that given period of time.

There would not be a money trail, unless assets were purchased or leased. It costs money to make money. Profits or losses are determined by determining revenues and subtracting expenses.

Whore jets rule!!!
Cant wait to under cut you at my next airline. I win bitches.
I"m going to under cut you so much that the price of fuel won't even count!!
Good luck weirdos.

I have no idea what that was about....

However all is not sunshine and roses here at RAH. Anyone flying into PIT will see a forest of Frontier 170's in long term storage with no home. Management is spreading a gloom and doom message (we are in contract talks) and furloughs or out of senority terminations may be around the corner.

Thanks all,

So.....Just checking my math here,

Only 16 E-170 100's-to be transfered to 200's-are operated for Delta.

Right?

I know this info has already been discussed here, I'm just to lazy to do a search!

How many Frontier planes are getting parked?
What does the rumor mill say will happen to them?
Delta/NWA, or United? New customer?

Thanks.

F9 ops only had 12 planes up and running...all 12 parked. only 10 of the 16 delta 170s are going to united, the rest will be homeless just like the F9 planes. the other delta 170s were supposed to go to F9.

Good lord. You would think by now some management team would come up with a new one.

"Uhh, boss? It's negotiation time with the pilots."

"Ahh, yes. Please issue a memo saying airplanes will be returned, furloughs may commence, and our major airline partner wants to get rid of us."

Real fresh stuff. Give 'em hell.
