Seven, you are incorrect. Delta only severed ties with the MIDWEST BRAND, not Republic. Republishuttleaquatierwest still has a relationship with Delta as a connection carrier through some of its other "brands".

For now. I'd call this a shot across the bow.

I bet it will happen as soon as it can. DL will not continue to fund a direct competitor (F9 and Midwest). And, it is time to continue to get rid of more 50 seaters (ERJs).

Bye Bye--General Lee

Delta cuts ties with a functionally defunct airline...that RJET said the name was going away anyway, awesome news flash.

Dammit man...my "Frontublica" has been one upped! Nicely done sir.

Edit: actually 3 upped i think

Okay Mom. My physical age and maturity age are two very different things my friend.

I think we should start a "death pool" for republic. My $20 is on 4Q 2011.

I doubt it seriously but I would think many of the RJ drivers are in for some hurt as Delta and Yonited start moving these guys out of their feed system.

I doubt it. Direct, indirect, what difference does it make. Delta is funding United (Skywest and ASA) and Continental (Pinnacle nee Colgan). I think as long as someone will do it cheaper than mainline, Mommma Delta is happy with the arrangement.
