How do you get such a high credit rate but a lower flight time??

Soft credits, duty rigs, cancelation pay, premium pay, and NOT being paid segment time (block or better). Pay rules that are going by the wayside as more and more professional pilots sign up to do more for less pay.

Before taxes and including per diem, 2 grand a month is pretty easy on first year pay, especially if you pick up any open time.

Almost all of our delta trips are 4 days now, so if thats the flying you are getting assigned, 500-600 in per diem is normal.

Flight time versus credit----We get block or better, so if you go to ATL or JFK, you almost always make extra money.

My last small check (without perdiem): 631.97
My last big check (with Perdiem): 1485.44 (550.58 perdiem)
for a grand total of $2117.41 after taxes.

Previous months of 1987.49 (557.28 perdiem) and 2008.27 (526.82 perdiem).

So no, I am not exaggerating. I pick up open time when able, and do almost all 4 day trips.
