Relevance of 717 to Southwest continues to diminish

Add them up and you get? REGIONAL AIRLINE.

I can't tell you how painful this is for me. Look at my post history toward Southwest ops. I've called them cowboy air many a time.
But regional? Dude, they're the largest domestic carrier in the US. They're bigger than American Airlines when you rack and stack by passengers carried. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World's_largest_airlines
