Does anyone have any specifics on the cleveland contract with regions....

how many planes, when does it start, type of aircraft etc.

thanks

Saabs..

I have a friend who's going to be an F/A with them. They are going to be flying 3 Saab 340As (ex-CHQ I believe) to CKB, PKB, and MGW starting in mid-May. Also, they will be starting JHW and BFD at the end of July.

Yea as Canadair said, we're gonna be starting on the 14th with 3 Saab 340 A models from Cleveland service to parkersburg, clarksburg, and morgantown WV. Later in the summer we're gonna start service to Jamestown and Bradford. I know one of our saab's is ex-Shuttle America and the other two are from puerto rico. I know we're looking for pilot, I believe we want 1000/100. check us out at http://www.regionsair.com

We also still have the AA Connetion runs with the Jetstream 32 outta STL. I believe (dont quote me on this) that we have 13 Jetstreams.

We may own 13.. but I bet only 8 of those are flying.. Mayyybe 9.. :)

Yeh, 1000/100 are the times for privileges to the cockpit. :)

I heard they were only paying 32 bucks an hour for Saab capatins, and 17 bucks an hour for FOs. And of course the Pay freeze is still in affect. That is WAY below industry standard. That doesn't surprise me though because most things about Regions are way below standard. The only excemption to this rule is the excellent people they have flying their planes. I strangely miss hearing all the gripes in the St. Louis crew room. However, then I think about how happy I am at my current job and I just thing, nawwwww. Fly safe JetPigs!

Tram I believe thos planes are technically leased from British Aerospace. Correct me if I am wrong on this one.

Did you say A models? Oh my god! I thought they were all in the desert! Forget jumpseating/non-reving on those flights!
