Just got a call to interview at Regions. Anyone know the QOL and upgrade there? Is there any additional flying besides STL? Thanks

Regions supposedly is taking EAS routes in WV/Western NY from Colgan and Mesa out of CLE. They apparently have been awarded the contracts, but don't yet have aircraft/pilots, so no firm date on it.

QOL - It's not the best, but believe it or not, it's not the worst.. Upgrade is rapid.. We're talking.. sit 3 months MAAAYBE of reserves as an FO... Seems like the average upgrade is running close to a year.. some less some a lil' more.. Everyone knows how upgrades go.. "hear toady, gone to maui.."

The pilot group rocks.. we're like one big dysfunctional family.. :)

STL is all the flying..

We're supposed to be getting Saabs.. we've got several crews already done with training.. waiting on the birds...

I saw regions mins are posted at 1000 TT and 100 ME. What are people getting hired at today?

Igothinktoyou'llcolganfindorthatcommutairRegions is hiring right at those mins

Ahh, c'mon.. Regions isn't that bad.. :)

Just know everything you can before coming here.. and you'll be ok..

Competitive min's is like a pulse and 1 real leg... hiring mins are much less.. :)

Nah, I think 1000/100 is the competitive stuff..

Hasn't changed much.. About a year on the line and you'll be looking at upgrading..

It amazes me that people are still willing to tolerate the pay and mismanagement of Regions. But I'll lift a glass to the pilot group!

You know what they say, no pain, no gain.. :)

It amazes you that people still stay at Regions, it amazes me that people leave this place to go fly pistons...

Who is the new Chief Pilot over there?

I just got a call back from them. After I interview, they will probably beg me to be the new CP.

This place may be a bit off kilter, but the pilots do the interviews and if your show up with that attitude, you won't be around long.. :)

Consider yourself "replaced"

My hearts go out to the pilots everytime I see those Junkstreams clawing for altitude...

I hear the upgrade is really, really fast. I guess thats a bonus.

The Jetstream guys probably will make up grade in a year, hopefully sooner. The Saab folks...it's going to be a while:bawling:
We're winners and losers: on the one hand we "luck" out with MX issues and call it a day after 2-3 hours of flying, on the other hand it's holding us back from upgrade:mad:

Hehe.. looks like you'll fit in just fine... as long as you leave me a voice mail to tell me I'm canned..

Derek's gone to Montana.. Big Sky...

So this means that, Susan Ready is now managing HR, Flight Attendants and is the new Chief Pilot!

She sounds flexible.

did someone forget to mention we're like a big dysfunctional family?

Good luck, we are all counting on you.
