It seems to me... 121 pilots can fly 1000 hours per year, so take the hourly rate and add three zeros for your salary.

Good lord.... if i flew 1000 hours in a year i think I'd faint. But yea, I've heard that rule of thumb... course 1000 hours on a schedule is a heck of alot easier to do than on a pager.
