Good Morning Fellas, New to the forum.... After meeting/speaking with the HR folks last Friday they told me that they compare militarty apps to militarty apps, and civ to civ. In otherwords, don't expect if you have 2000+ turbine PIC (turbojet) at a part 121 that the call is automatic over a military or Beech 1900 guy (or gal) with the 'magic' 1700 turboprop PIC. They really do seem to value a whole spectrum of new pilots from all walks of aviation. Kelbill probably knows a lot more than most of us but that is what I have heard from the HR dept. FWIW when I interviewed I had a little over 3000PIC in CRJs, another 500 or so PIC in EMB120s. No checkairman letter. Hired on the 1st interview.
