My point is, according to you, some mainline union should be determining the boarding priority of another airline's jumpseat.

you are really getting desperate....

In addition, what obligation or binding agreement does UAL or U-ALPA have to allow OO pilots priority on OO aircraft
If the OOpilots want to make their case then they need to reference an agreement or document that says UAL mangmt or UAL-Alpa had agreed to put into the apollo code a priority system. If they can't, then they are really at the mercy of the monolith that is UAL. Quite often that is the case with regionals that feed legacies.

The suggestion was actually an effort to help the OOpilots document their case, to solve the issue. I am guessing that there is no agreement or documentation thus the OOpilots used the ultimatum/threat letter....

That is what an agreement is all about. That is why Jerry has a contract as do most pilots. Once again you make the argument yourself for self representation, agreements and/or contracts. I can assure they are better than ultimatums and threats...

So do you have plans to be a pilot? Do you want to be an OOpilot one day?

Rez,

*Yawn* So you changed your mind again? Everyone knows you will just contradict yourself again in about three posts anyways.

After having to go through 9-11 and now the current downturn due to high oil prices, why would I ever want to work the frontline again? I have NO plans to EVER be a pilot. I like my In-N-Out, cushy chair and cubicle too much now.

You'll have to show your reasoning... simply saying I contradict myself doesn't mean it is so.....

I went to InOut a few weeks ago... the burger was good but the fires were awlful... maybe a bad batch? You know about the secret "menu"?

If you dont eat the fries before the burger they arent that great. Why you ask? Unlike McDonald's and Burger King they aren't prepackaged with all those lovely preservatives and additives. They peel and cut the potato on site and throw them straight into the fryer. And the secret menu cist being secret about 5 years ago.

Hey, I am new to the InO experience... be gentle!

The only thing secret about the secret menu really was the "animal style." Everything else on the secret menu is all common practice just given special little codewords.

The only secret is that In-N-Outtie can't compare with Whataburger.

No finer burger in existence. Fries? Pleeeaze. For an extra treat, get the onion rings with the chocolate shake and a side of jalapenos.

Good eats.

The best burger is out here on the East Coast at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Nothing compares!

Oh Rez, do you know so little of rhetorical argument to not be able to spot a hypothetical when you see one?

I've wasted far too much time and energy on this argument already. Someone like you who is so set in their particular point of view could never be convinced of anything, so I'm cutting my losses of time right here. Sorry man, it's nothing personal... It's just that I have a life to live beyond flightinfo.

See ya.

Ted's Montana Grill has a good Bison Burger. Wash it down with a Sweetwater 420 and that's about as good as it gets anywhere.

The grapes were probably sour anyway?

Wise man Goose Egg.

Welll, okay, bringing Ted's into the equation is kinda like using the nuclear option: blows the competition out of the water. There is no comparison, the Bison Burger is the top rung of the burger ladder.

From a fast food standpoint, tho, I still say Whataburger blows all others away.

I too want more professionalism out of our MEC. I don't care for the hate filled emails and certainly would have been angry with the rant mentioned.

I will be making a trip back to the right seat on Sept 1st.

Everything is great at my company. I'm still in the left seat. What's the "right seat"?

Either that, or he/she can't stand the heat in the kitchen!

Or he has this silly little aversion to beating his head against the wall.

Sure, Rez had some valid points, I think. Beyond that, he could even be right on a number of things, and he definitely said some things that I agree with.

With that said, however, he seems to have some very invalid misconceptions about the character of the "typical SkyWest pilot." It's just plain wrong, and I'll never go along with it. Regardless of whatever good points he may have made, his obvious bias invalidates (there's that word again) them.

And since Rez seems to be largely unaware of this, and not likely to become aware, I thought I would simply save myself the trouble by bowing out early.

How do you like the temperature now? I like it fine--only hot if it needs to be.

Personally, I like the HEAT! As they say, "No pain, No gain!"

Asking questions can enhance learning. Having meaningful dialogue, can provide insight. Even diatribe, can have meaningful purpose if you sift through the manure!

Not participating creates a vacuum and a lack of idea exchange--Negative Resource Management!
