45 rooms were booked at the Hilton Easton starting today for Raytheon Corporate staffers. Combine that with the fact that Flight Options terminated it's marketing staff and Raytheon folded all the mechanics back into the fold.

It makes you go hmmmm.

If I were a F/O pilot, I'd be voting yes as soon as possible for the 1108 union.

Maybe Raytheon is in town to convince the company that the 400XP is really a great plane after all.

In October recurrent, BB told the class that NetJets wouldn't pay a dime for FO. Instead, the question would be how much would Raytheon pay us to take FO off their hands.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Ok, let's think this one through.... If they were going to sell/barter/trade off FLOPS do you really think it would take 45 people??? I doubt that.... Secondly where did you get your info??? Is it good info or BS???

It could take that many to make them believe the 400 is a good and capable aircraft.... It isn't....

Could they be trying to sell NJA the 4000 in mass???? Well it has been done already....

I don't think the aquisation will ever happen and joining 1108 isn't going to help in any merger.... The place will be broken up and sold off in pieces...

Damn I was looking forward to hoping they were going to use that hotel for recurrent.

uuggh. Oh well back to the managers reception i go.

did somebody say dime, yea we at RTA always wondered when Raytheon would pay somebody to take us, hell they gave Ricci 20 million

400XP sh!t plane meetings....................I heard it was this week. 18 planes and 6 to 7 are always down good plane NOT.

Security

Those rooms are for housing all the rent-a-cops it will take to escort Netjets management out of the building after Raytheon announces that Flops is "buying" them. (It only took 2 cops to boot Tricky Ricci!)

RNO,

I think it would take more people to broker some type of acquisition than it would to listen to complaints about the 400XP. 45 folks seems a little steep to handle a problem with an aircraft that is underperforming. We'll have to wait and see but my guess is that something is afoot outside the 400XP program.

My information is rock solid. If you have some doubts, why not drop a dime to the Hilton and ask them?
