I'm so happy SWA is able to forecast expenses better than me. I never really thought about if the screens go bad or when they want bigger, need maintenance, etc. You know us Americans, and you know that we'll want hi-def eventually to be happy. SWA does have it right. With all the portable entertainment these days (ipod of course) it's no wonder why SWA doesn't invest the money. It's just not necessary. Another wise decision pointed out at my shortsightedness. Keep up the good work and the profits!

I hear UAL is going to put internet in some planes. I think it may be wireless.
 
I rode on a British Airways 777 from Heathrow to O'hare last winter and the Tv monitors kept randomly failing, then mysteriously returning to life. I was almost as annoyed as my two year old by the end of the flight. I think it was one of the early 777's , but I think this technology would get real expensive to keep upgrading.
