Runs come and go... The only constant is change. The best base now to be at is CRW in my opinion. I believe all C402 runs, 4 or 5 of them. With the top couple pretty decent and people rotating through pretty quick. Cheap places to live also.

Yeah that was actually going to be my question. How do you get on with the pay and living in CRW or RDU? Is it easily doable. I would imagine that Florida might be a bit of a shocker trying to find cheap accomodation.

Get a Sugar Momma or plan on eating noodles and drinking water for your first year. But that's the same across the board with the starter positions; CFI'ng, regionals, ect.... 1st year pay is $85/day, you do the math.

Florida is actually pretty cheap, at least Orlando was. RDU isnt too bad. Much cheaper than going north.

Yeah too true. I remember some of the colgan guys talking about the living costs around IAD.

"Soi whats your seniority number in the brokeback squadron ????"

Awesome! Now go back to your PA28 and get off the big boy's board.

Boy, I hurt the feelings of the "big boys". Did you help train the pilot or something. That pilot made all of you look like undisciplined, mismanaged, poorly trained freight idiots. Maybe you should join me in my 172 and I will help you out. Don't cancel today, it is supposed to get windy.

Who says it's the pilot's fault...

It could have very well been maintenance related or a simple part failure. I suggest you keep your propaganda to your lonesome. We'll all know the cause in detail when the report comes out. BTW, you hurt no ones feelings, we just don't like you.

Actually no, It made you look like an idiot for pretending to know everything about what goes on at RAM and the incident at CLT. How many fake profiles have you made just to post "undercover"?

Hello,
First of all to "toolowgear" lets not pass judgement on a fellow pilot until we know the facts. However, let me re-phrase that...You are not a "fellow pilot", because no one that has ever flown 135 cargo or flown in any professional capacity make a statement like your's. I am former RCY pilot and know quite a few former RAM pilots and all of them are pretty sharp people. You don't survive for long if you aren't. So, why don't you go log another 600 hours and get a job flying single-pilot IFR and then debrief us on how easy it is.

Regards,

ex-Navy Rotorhead

OFP can be rather junior. It's not unusual for somebody to get OFP a week out of training. I think all Seneca runs, some long and some short. Before JQF it was our biggest outbase. Nothing is actually based out of RIC, just stops.
