How long does it usually take for them to get in contact with you?

i have been applying all through january and february, sent my last resumes in around the 20th and got a call on the 28th. goodluck, if you meet the minimums, give it a shot

Are they hiring for the 145 or just the CRJ?

Hey ATR, lighten up. I was an RAH guy before it was RAH. What I AM implying is that it wouldn't hurt to keep the mins a little higher if you're hiring for the 170s. That's a lot of plane for a newby. I don't know who explored the nether regions of the runway at CLE, maybe they were high time, who knows, but those types of situations can't be made less likely by hiring low time pilots.

Is the only thing they are basing in DEN the 170?

Is the 170 just a luck thing or how does one get it?

I think I'd like to be based in DEN...

If you meet the mins for the E170 and they are running a class, they may offer it to you. They company will offer you whatever they want to in order to fill the classes. There is big growth on the CRJ2 and the E170's for the Republic side. There is a good chance you could get the E170 right now. If you did get the Republic Cert, you could hold DEN from day one. It may be a 2 month, but no more than that.

Got an interview offer today and asked if they were hiring for DCA. To my surprise they said yes, but I have to pay my way to IND. Is 1st yr FO pay still $23/hr?

If you want DEN you have to get offered a class for Republic. DEN is not a base for Shuttle.
