The word is out. That RAh is losing all or part of the AA contract, so all you want-to-be 175 pilots, your dream won't be a 175 it will be a q400 so enjoy.

The flying is coming back to L-eagle where it should of been all along, enjoy it while you can.
 
Interesting. I wonder if this has anything to do with RAH suddenly reopening contract talks after IBT national replaced the NC.

What is the reason for losing the contract?

Is because of operational issues or because they cannot get enough pilots?

Also, any truth that RAH is folding their Q400 feed for United out of DEN?

Naaaahaaa,
No pilot shortage happening, its oddly, kinda funny. The collapse of the regional industry is slowly gaining momentum. I will enjoy watching the various regional executives standing on the local freeway onramps with cardboard signs that say, "will screw pilots for food".
While we may feel some pain, I am sure that there is no market for their level of incompetence in the free market. Stupid and mean are not qualities that most employers look for.

There is no truth to this rumor.

The newspaper links are > 6 months old and have nothing to do with this at all.

I can't even say "nice try" as you didn't even put in any effort to support your rumor.

Was nothing to "support" a rumor...get your sh*t together and pay attention before you spout off

So why aren't you leaving?
Apps and resume out to more than a few carriers, I am lucky, I can afford to wait for one of my first tier choices. Every month spent waiting is more into the 401(k), and portfolio, and bank account to be ready for the initial pay reduction. I have managed to prepare for 5 years at the lowest payscale at my choicest airlines, and heaven forbid if the f-word happens, I will ride it out well working at Taco Bell.

Whats a matter, didn't your mother love you? I am sorry you have to sit in the high school computer lab to get on F/I. I am also sorry that your grandmothers dial up access isn't fast enough to get you on F/I from her house. If I go nowhere, I will still be somewhere, and while not my first choice, it will work well enough.
