It's funny that he always complains about the union like it's the root of all evil, but yet he stays at a unionized carrier. If I was that miserable about it I'd leave.
Jet Blue?
Which regional hasn't furloughed and pays near the top?
I think your blame is misguided-look at the management team in place there at ASA. Is it the union's fault that you have to check your paycheck every month for major errors? Is it their fault that you can't get monthly bid awards out on time? How would being non-union solve these problems? I don't think it makes a difference either way whether you have one or not for stuff like this. Not a union cheerleader at all here, I just think the blame can be spread around a little more.
There ya go moe.
Who cares moe Air Whiskey pays the best. Try and top that ?
Let's go with, sky west sucks! Let the non union feeder whipsawing begin.
Reading / writing comprehension isn't your strong point either huh dip sh!t ?
The blame is
Here's a question for you.
Do you think Skywest just arbitrarily made up those payscales, or did they take the high average of ALPA's payscale?
Must be nice to get union benefits without paying for them!
Here's a question for you.
Do you think Skywest will continue to pay those payscales if they unionize?
It's nice to have smart management that knows how the game is played....It's too bad the unions aren't as smart as management...
It's nice to know that the the joe merchant types at skywest can't realize that they, like everyone else in the regional business, is just leased crew. I'm sure you'll argue the point of ground service etc. and before you do, spare us. Oh and smart management that's funny. try CHEAP non union labor.
it's obvious to everyone but you, this argument was mute out of the gate.
even the Mighty skypest won't be around in the same form forever.
Get used to it.

Ehhh, yeah. They would have to. Of course they would lose a lot of flying if they unionized, and I am certainly not saying it is in Skywest pilots' best interest to do so.
I don't disagree with the second part, but it also proves my point. Skywest pilots get the benefits of union negotiations without paying dues.
Third, Why are you are calling yourself and your own pilot group dumb? Why did you vote in a bunch of guys you think are stupid?
I voted against all of those guys.....got'em anyway.....Obama too..... I feel so well represented

SO, THE REAL QUESTION IS:
What has your union done for you lately?
A GREAT FOLLOW-UP would be:
What has your union done for themselves lately?
