I don't believe first offence is a felony in the US, I think Canada does consider it a felony though... I know it does cause big problems for trying to travel to Canada. (not from a personal experience) knock on wood...
 
If our Vice President can help lead the country with a DUI on his record, you definitely can lead a crew of 5 and 130 pax. Just my opinion.
 
You got this far, so don't let it stop you. Just be honest and up-front about it. It happened over a decade ago and prove to them that you learned your lesson. Good luck.
