DC EMERG FDR

Okay I got it ties Batt Tie to ESS DC BUS , but besides APU please give me some of most likely causes for light to come on, etc., etc., both in flight and on ground, and any other thoughts, comments, experience, thanks.

Been a long time, but is the light coming on with the utility pump running?

OK, it's been 11 years but......

the batts tie to the ESS DC bus when the APU starts, the aux pump is selected on, or the batteries are selected on with no Main DC power available (i think). If the DC Emer FDR lite is on after a converter is powered and on the line, it sounds like a sticky relay isn't opening. I could be scrambling II/IIIAC/IV and V in my head though....

When it doubt, SKIP SWITCH!!!!

I'm impressed

Eleven years, hell my memory isn't that good after 11 days. That's pretty much what I thought, I was just wondering what I might have been missing.
Thanks, I appreciate the input/confirmation, but I am jealous of the memory.

Memory? What memory? I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning.....

Yeah, talk about memory problems...I can't remember a utility pump from an aux pump! Been about 11 years since my last 1159 recurrent also. Thanks GSD.
