I guess either they were too fast putting the gear down, didnt follow the QRH, or QRH hasn't been revised for what they will find in this investigation. Not sure if it has the same hydraulic system as the CRJ, but speed can be a problem in lowering the gear without both pumps operating on the same system. Either way, nobody getting hurt is a pretty good deal.

I was at the factory today in CA. A spring on the nose gear door failed and hung on a hyd line in the wheel well and kept the door from opening.
