I'm sure they will wait for Horizon to finalize its rates and then set their rates 10 percent below those.

What Horizon does is irrelevant. First of all they're pretty much finished, second of all Skywest pilots will take what they're given same as they always have.

Horizon is pretty much finished because after 11 years not one regional has had the balls to come close to their pay scale. Even Mesaba's "industry leading" contract used qx's q4 pay scale for 900s and went down from there.

Rumor has it that if you guys get it on property, you are close to accepting flying the Q400 for your current CRJ200 rates??? Any truth to this?

Jerry told SAPA that he would like to open discussions for a Q400 payscale sometime in the near future. Nothing has happened yet but I cant see us flying them at CRJ rates since getting the Qs would only effect afew hungry that want the quick upgrade and most of us dont need to fly it or give two sh!ts if its on property and those few that want it wont get the 50% plus 1 vote unless its a great payscale.

Exactly! Skywest can just pay the pilots Horizon +10% without "negotiating" with sapa or putting anything to vote.

Negotiating? That's rich. Jerry says frog, SAPA jumps.
