All you all will have to pardon the ignorance
of a junkstream (32) driver employed by an
airline that lacks the vision to get anything
bigger....
That said, I have a question about j4j...
how the heck can someone come off
furlough, skip over 45% of the senority
list (assuming about 55% CAs and 45%
FOs) and get into the left seat of a brand
new piece of equipment?
I do think that it is wrong that so much
flying is going to the non-owned carriers
(why use contractors when you own regional
airlines)....?
Lastly, I thank all of you guys and gals. Why?
Because US Airways and US Airways Express
treat commuters well. In this industry, and
this economy with the reduced skeds and
everything, your open jumpseat policy is a
Godsend!!! You have no idea how if feels
to watch your "codeshare" airline push an
airplane back with 50 empty seats and tell you
you didn't get on because there was a check
airman in the jumpseat! Oh yeah, and then say
"you should have bought a pass"
Thank you very much!!!
Good Luck to all...I have a "I Fly the Flag" sticker
on my bag...he!! if I will advertise for AA!
