Its not all doom and gloom here. Paddlehigh and Ex j-41 tried to steer me away from this place six years ago but it turned out to be a great move for me. The key to survival at PSA is to live in base. Commuting on reserve will take years off your life. It had to do it for a while living in CLT commuting to TYS in order to hold the left seat. Anyway, in my six years nothing has really changed at this place. Considering what the rest of the industry had to deal with, that might not be such a bad thing. If you think your job is in jeopardy over at 9E than jumping ship to PSA might be a good option. It is a lot easier to get another flying job if you are current vs. furloughed. Since you already have PIC time then just stay until you get the call from Delta, USAir, Pan Am, etc... We might not be the best regional out there but it beats the hell out of working.
