Bravodriver, YOUR experience at places other than NJA, does NOT reflect MY (or my husband's) experience with the NJ pilots. I have continually tried to express to pilots who post here, the grass roots movement that has spread thru the NJ pilots. There is a strong sense of community among the pilots and their families--I experience it daily!

Diesel,

No, I am not management, no i am not attempting to bait anyone. I just wanted to catch up on the happenings with the pending deadline and decided to check out the posts. I am impressed that for the most part, the posts are civil and constructive. I was not impressed with the responses to jolimon from the union reps. Seems like anytime there is a difference of opinion, then the F bombs start to fly. This fits in perfectly with my experience with union reps. They do not (in general) care about the members, just there own pocket books and job security.

Quite the contrary to my impressions of the accused in question. Our LEC reps were not compensated for their tireless efforts on behalf of their pilot brethren.

If we are going to "pidgeonhole" their lot, I would submit that as a group, they are fervent about improving our working conditions.

I know there are exceptions, including the "fab five" at the MEC level. However, throughout our industry there are far more LEC reps, very few of whom are selfish as you alledge.

All of whom I'd rather have a beer with, than you.

What Union reps... nobody posting to Jolly Roger is a Union Rep. Just all line pilots.

You do not fly for us or you would know who each one of is.
