Hey Everyone,

As of May 1 Ameristar is changing its schedule and Pay!!! The new schedule will equal 20 days of work and 11 days off a month. Each months schedule will be bid on by seniority. There are 17 different schedules to bid on using many different combinations such as 5/2,6/5,7/7,9/9,10/6. The new pay for Fo's is 24k salary, .7cents a sm and $36 perdiem a day. Captain pay is $36k salary, .10 cents a sm and $36 perdiem. We have been avg. 70 hrs a month this year and are getting a first quarter bonus of half a months salary. We are currently looking for pilots for a May 21 class. If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to PM me.

Anthony

What's upgrade looking like over there Capt. Quagmire? giggity

Stay away! Mgmt hates the pilots and screw them over every chance they get. They just never understand that when you take care of your pilots, they take care of you. They may have changed the schedule, but the attitude is still the same.

Amen,
The 121 side is experiencing a mass exit much like the 135 side last year.
7-8 right now, more to follow?

heard the 135 CP quit too...

actually the place has turned into a major craphole lately!! in the last month they have lost the 135cp,121cp,4-135 pilots"including yours truely", and 6-121 pilots. I know of 4 others that havent given notice yet that are leaving there soon. I did that post as a favor but now that he's gone and im gone screw that place. It's kinda funny how everyone's exit interview was about Jacob and what a c0cksucker he is!!! They have more dispatchers there then they do pilots now. Im just waiting to drive by and see someone walking around with the sign "The end is near"

did the swedes leave? where did they go?

Funny, they just called me a few days ago. Apparently they are going through resumes from some of the employment websites (Climbto350, avianation, etc) I had to respectfully decline. Interesting how 5 years ago they interview and in the interview tried making me feel as if I wasnt worthy of working there and my "low" jet time (300 hours at the time) was not sufficient to fly they high performance and tough enviroment. HA! Life sure is funny!
