Funny thread. I remember a time when I offered to take the hottest girl in a particular establishment up for a ride in a Mooney to which I then had access. She politely informed me that her boyfriend owned a Citation. But there were plenty of takers for the Mooney rides over the years. Now that I'm flying jets, I don't offer Mooney rides. But "pilot" has always been in conjunction with other things, such as "attorney", or just plain charm (?). Or maybe it was a slow time for the ladies in question. The C172 dual given thing might work in Kansas, but I suspect it has limited automatic sex appeal in the Really Big City. If it does work for you consistently, then there are probably other factors at play, which is a good thing, actually.
