great [LEFT said:cornholio[/left]]300K isn't gonna get you much of a house anywhere around D.C. I grew up inManassas, VA which is about 25 miles west of DC. And is about 1.5 hour drive to BWI. My parents townhouse is 3 BR 1.5 Bath and isn't really in the best neighborhood and arealitortold them that they could easily get 260 to 290 for it (they paid 63.5 in 1986). There have been some townhouses in my neighborhood going for justuner300 in the past few months. As it was said earlier stay away....far far away from Prince Georges County Md. On the news there are always at least 2 or 3 fatal shootings/stabbings in DC and another 2 or 3 fatal shootings/stabbings in PG county...EVERY night. Don't know much about whats north of BWI, but I'd saythatsthe place to be. 300k would probably get a nice house with some land 1.5 hours north of BWI, plus you wouldn't be in the DC rush hour traffic mess.
