If it were up to me...

Pitts S-1S

Get in turn key, go fly, burn 8-9 gallons...have fun. Clean airplane and wax, looks great.


Yak55--Get it...hope it cranks, then hope it starts, fidle around for an hour to get it running, awesome performance, burns a TON of gas...land and try to clean airplane, oil everywhere--plane is dirty.
 
My airplane (Yak-50) NEVER failed to start...ever. In fact, cranked a whole quicker than 90% of all opposed motors.
