Easy SEVEN. Your gonna stroke out buddy.
I happen to know for fact that this is something you just made up.
That's a good one. Never seen a contract written in stone. In case you haven't noticed in this industry, contracts don't mean squat!
Pinnacle is short staffed and Mesaba isn't. Do you know why Mesaba isn't Furloughing right now?
Pinnacle is bidding on Mesaba and pretty soon you will be working for them. Then you will be Phil's bi**h.
True story ChickenHead:
Last week, my crew and I are heading to the gate for the overnight city. Crew Scheduling calls and says "change of plans, Pinnacle is at it again. They just canceled a flight from DTW to Lacrosse, WI in which 40 US Solders were trying to get home, we are gonna cover it on our CRJ 200 and swap you with that CRJ 200 flight." We want to try and get these guys and gals home to see their families since Pinnacle can't do it."
Like I said before....wish I was making it up, but I'm not. Next time your at the airport, look at the boards for yourself. 9E has more canceled flights than Spirit!!!!!!![]()
Yes. You are still flying on a p.o.s. sub-par contract with no end in sight getting used and abused on a daily basis creating extra work for Mesaba reserves covering the flying you can't because your staffing level sucks.
Saturday June 12, 2010. DTW-LSE.....not sure the Flight number, but it was the last flight to LSE that night. What was the flight number and date?
As long as the PCL MEC is more concerned about the risk of hurting the feelings of the Colgan MEC than what is good for their own pilot group... there will be no SLI.
You cannot be serious. How would an SLI right now accomplish anything positive?
Are you concerned about whipsaw? Currently 9E is working to finish up a contract that contains a parent letter guarding against whipsaw and colgan is working ontheir first deal. We could shelf all that, try and do a single carrier and/or SLI that will take considerable time still with no contract and no protections. Get a 9E contract, get a 9L contract and then evaluate. Stopping the press now for a deal to do an SLI could become catastophic when new RFP's come up next year.
off to cover another canceled 9E round trip...this is getting old:angryfire
Your not welcome. I wonder if RH knows you can't operate your scheduled flights?Thank you so much!

It's more than whipsaw. It's the fact that the CEC is filled with young Colganphytes with their own independent seniority list. Are you concerned about whipsaw?

While Pinnacle languishes with stagnation and no real future. The fact that Colgan moved their operations to Memphis is more than enough evidence that we are not just two separate companies under some distant financial umbrella.
The operations are intermixed. We are headed to a ShuPubliAqua model... not an ASA/Skywest model.
The union needs to recognize this... and take some action for once.
I'm always willing to tell you where we are and where we are planning on going from the UNION's (aka pilot's) inputs and desires.
If 9E strikes, do you expect 9L to walk also?
