JO was reported at The flying Saucer this week in MEM. I heard that a guy saw him walking there

Peabody would be a better rumor as PNCL employees get a discount there. $1.50 wine and $3.00 mixed drinks on wednesdays. I think beers are $2.00. I haven't gone myself, but I hear it draws a good crowd.

Southwest is looking for the Q'S. Kind of like Horizon for Alaska. Going to use them for the short hall in Texas. ; )

It is also a FACT that prior to the purchase of Colgan by PNCL Corp. that Mesa was the first buyer that the Colgan's vetted for selling the company to. They were unable to reach an agreement obviously and the next bottom-feeder in line picked us up...

A Colgan pilot calling another regional a bottom feeder... nice.

Colgan guys are saying Republic is taking Q400's and pilots....don't shoot the messenger.

Nobody at RAH has even mentioned a peep about Q400's here, its all outside speculation. But this is the airlines, who knows what managment will pull off next so pilots can go blame each other...

I've heard from some management types that Republic is the closest of three suitors to signing a deal for the Q400s.

Westjet wants a tprop operation. They are deciding between the q and the atr at the moment. They have made it known they want the prop operation up and running in 2013

I'd be surprised. Bedford has said for a long time that he wants to be all jet and does not believe in the future of turboprops. Things can always change, but I'd be surprised if RP goes for turboprops. They are in the process of getting rid of all the Lynx aircraft.

At least one Q is already sitting in Victorville for storage and another is either there or enroute. These are the two airplanes that were parked the Friday night before the Ch. 11 announcement. These two airplanes are owned by a bank that PNCL Corp sold them to raise some quick cash a couple of years ago.

WestJet selects Bombardier Q400 for new regional airline

Looks like WestJet made their move...

Article says up to 45 new aircraft & absolutely nothing about any used ships going to WJ. Calgary ain't such a bad place to work if you have a Q type. The next hiring boom has arrived...in Canada aye....
