It's not just the APU, guys. It's everything else, also. Call fatigued after those 5-6 leg days with the reduced rest overnights. Delay flights for meals and for taking the later van to get your full rest at the hotel. Taxi on two engines. If the ramper doesn't have a headset, open the door again for a full briefing on hand signals. Write up mx items at the outstations if they break at the outstations. I could go on and on. Make their operation a living hell, and then they'll give you your contract. Until then, they'll continue to ignore you, because the current NMB certainly won't force them to negotiate.

Agreed. But I still see 75% taxi like it is the indy 500. Cowards.

Prop brakes are too expensive for Mesaba Management, so we don't have them. If only we did, we wouldn't spend the summers drenched in sweat.

Prop break? That was deactivated on the A's and B-'s we used to have and the B+'s never had them. Definately would have been nice.

I'm thinking of putting an APU on my car. You know, to keep things cooler.

....and another thing from the folks (me) riding in the back of your airplanes.

You all know it gets hotter than hell in an RJ during descent with the engines at idle. Spark that APU off before airflow becomes a factor during descent. PLEASE!!!!!!!

I don't know who's fault it is (The Pilots say it's Management, Management says it's the Pilots) and I really don't give two sh*ts who it is. I do know that it sure would be nice to move forward and get something f*cking accomplished.

In other words, whoever's delaying this thing, please pull your collective heads out of your a**es and let's get going again. Pretty f*cking please.

Clarification

Reference the 9E pilots contract, I don't know who's fault it is (The Pilots say it's Management, Management says it's the Pilots) and I really don't give two sh*ts who it is. I do know that it sure would be nice to move forward and get something f*cking accomplished.

Knowing what you know about Pinnacle management, who do you think is responsible?

Your opinion of 9E management doesn't matter to me. It was relevant when you were employed here. All I want to know is who's telling the truth and who's full of sh*t. I don't trust either party involved in the "negotiations" or whatever it is at this point. I am sick of hearing about it, reading about it and listening to the whining on this board. If the responsible party delaying the negotiations is not ALPA then please accept my apologies. If it's 9E management, then I would highly advise them, as an non-pilot employee to promptly and swiftly work to an agreement with the pilots so we can continue to operate as efficiently as possible.

I didn't ask you about my opinion of 9E management, I asked you about your own opinion. Knowing what you know about them, who are you inclined to believe?

I said before I don't trust either side to tell the truth about what's actually happening. Clear enough for you?

Yeah, clear, but I wish you trusted the pilots a little more.
