Curious what you consider a successful picket at the majors.

Recently NJASAP, Netjets Pilots Union, conducted an informational picket at the annual Berkshire Hathaway convention. While exact numbers of attendees will never be known, it's estimated that over 400 pilots, participated. They traveled there from all four corners of the IS on their own dime. Some tracked the steps they walked, the highest total I've seen was 40,000 steps recorded. That translates to 20 miles of walking. The picket started at 530am and ran continuously until 5pm.

We defintely had an effect inside the convention because unlike years past where WB spoke to the press while eating dilly bars and drinking cokes, he was repeatedly asked about the health of Netjets, which just released pre tax earnings of $384 million for the quarter, while at the same time they are bargaining hard for concessions from the pilots group. Also while ALL. Non bargaining employees receive bonuses.

BTW we have 2700 pilots, over half of which are either scheduled to fly, in training or expected to fly the next day.

I'm only impressed if the giant inflatable "Scabby the Rat" makes an appearance.
