This is a joke, right? This is almost what ASA makes flying -700s. At least SKYW makes a little more with their percent bump over -200 rates.

This compares ASA to PCL 76 seat rates. The bold is the higher of the two. Keep in mind these were arbitrated rates and still subject to negotiation for a new contract.

wow, pinnacle is looking better everyday for me!

how long would it take if i applied now to get in the nine

OK, your a new guy so I'll give you a break...When you refere to the CRJ 900 as a NINE, it makes you sound like a retard..When and if you get to point out Nine Traffic your Captain will most likely be looking for a DC 9...Hope this helps...

As of now, if you want the 900, you can get it out of class I think. BUt now with the rates coming out, I could see more people bidding it and the wait starting to grow

They still suck....look at Republic's rates for the same # of seats.

I think he was joking. Atleast I hope so. Oh well, if he doesn't get on with PCL, maybe he can get on at "Mainline" Republic.

Those rates at ASA are for the 700 or 900. We won't have a different rate for a 900.

Edit: actually I think its based on seats. Our 700 rate includes 76 seat aircraft.

Dude everyone in the new hire classes know that it is known as either the canadairbus A900 or the 797. Your such a noob. Also the FOM requires epaulettes to be worn backwards.

And most importantly, remember to tell bar skanks that you fly for Delta not Northwest.

Before everyone starts bashing these rates, these rates are imposed by an arbitrator, our goal was higher than these. These rates are not the rates we will have in our new contract. The way these rates were determined was by looking at industry average of all the airlines flying the crj 900. If you don't like these rates than look to your own pilot groups.

I think PCL128 owes me a beer now.....

Keep in mind these rates go under the 1999 contract. Which means they were up for renegotiation as of 2004. So comparing them to ASA's "new" payrates is not very prudent.

As previously stated....these rates are based on the 1999 contract, not 2008......that means the arbitrator would believe the rates for the 900 today would be significantly higher.

I think this is a definite move in the right direction to to get a respectible contract for the Guys and Girls at Pinnacle. Keep up the good work!!

Which means they were up for renegotiation as of 2004.

And how is that working out so far? The first thing management will say when you try to get anything more for your 76 rates will be, "we just signed off on those rates in 2008." Nice try.

If you want to compare those rates to something, I suggest you start with what mgmt WANTED to pay.

Hows $24.xx/hr for second year FO grab you?

I wouldn’t start comparing rates based on what anyone wanted.

They shouldn’t be compared to what the company wanted or what I wanted for that matter. The rates should be compared to industry standard.

The new rates are an improvement and are welcomed. Hopefully they will improve even more with the new contract.

If 9L is Colgan, you guys should hide your face whenever you approach another pilot for those disgusting Q400 rates. They are less than Skywests E120 rates for Gods sake!
Edit: Well almost lower than the E120 at Skywest, but way below the ATR-72 at ASA!

Our current 50 seat rates at AWAC are better than these. Hope you can negotiate something better.
Best luck.

Peace.

Is there any planned reduction in flying for NWA? ( on the Pinnacle side of things )

I know someone who went over to Pinnacle qualified for CA ( enough flight time ) and they said he has to do 100 hours in the CRJ200 as an FO and then can bid for a CA slot......that true? If so is it working as planned for those doing it?

Let me clarify...

I was in no way endorsing those rates as good or even acceptable. My point was that Pinnacle pilots did not roll over and take the rates mgmt wanted to force on us. We fought for better rates and, although we did not get what we wanted, got significantly better than the comany was offering. As others have said, those rates are subject to negotiation during the section six process and will be improved.

Pinnacle pilots aren't undercutting anyone. If we voted for those rates, yes. But we didn't.

As far as comparison to the Colgan Q400 rates...give me a break.

How did the FO lines come out for you guys this month? Oh, wait....

Okay so the rates aren't that out of line with everyone else's, but what kind of work rules do you guys have at PCL? That's where you can make some money and enjoy better quality of life with one shot.
