I used to fly PC-12s before I flew the 1900D. When I flew it, being single engine never bothered me. But after a couple thouseand hours in the 1900, as much as I like the PC-12, I would be nervous being single engine again.
The Beech 1900D has the -67. The -67D, as opposed -67B on the PC-12. But same power output. In fact I heard from a mechanic that the only difference between the "B" and the "D" had to do with the prop governor, and not the actual engine itself. It would be interesting to find out the failure rate on the 1900D (not other versions of the BE-1900) and compare it both to other versions of the PT-6 and compare it to the Pilatus PC-12.I can't think of any other planes using the -67 1200 SHP version off the top of my head.
