A lot of these GJ pilots that you guys think won't ever work for a major, already do. A fair portion of the GJ pilot's are furloughed mainline pilots, not 500 hr wonders with "SJS". Not sure of the exact numbers, but I know that several guys and gals from AA are there. If you regional guys think for a second that a mainline pilot is not going to give a ride to a pilot who is furloughed from their airline when GJ's get CASS, because they went to work at some regional that you don't like, your nuts. They don't care who they work for. All my AA buddies think that GJ's did their guys a favor by making them Captains and paying them for it. They went to GJ's because they were not going to go to work as a F.O. at some "bar raising" regional for $20.00/hr first year and the mainline guys can't blame them.

In case you guys don't know it, your regional airline doesn't want you to be a lifer. There economic models are based on MOST of you leaving before you hit the "higher" end of their payscales. They don't want to pay a bunch of 10 or 15 year captains. They want to replace a 5 year captain with a 3 year captain, or a 7 year captain with a 5 year captain. Same for F.O.'s. They not only want to make money, they are trying to incite you to leave through the pay. If you think that they are going to give in and keep you because you are so valuable, your wrong. The longer you are there, the bigger liability you become. They don't care if you move on to the next level or not, they just want you gone. Fed-ex or Wal-mart, they don't care, just leave and take your higher paying position with you so a lower payed guy can replace you and keep the profit margins up.

Couldn't be said any better........This thread should've ended on this note....but the bitching and moaning will continue no doubt.

The jumpseat is a professional courtesy offered from one pilot to another. GoJet SCABs are not professionals, so they get no courtesy. Period.

Of course this thread will continue!

I've searched but have not found any postings. Where can we obtain an updated Blow-jet pilot lists?

The list I was given has not been updated for a month or two now. And yes, some good AAL guys are at Blow-jet. Still not on my jumpseat-Sorry!

Yeah here is your list....170 pilots and growing that walk proudly down the concourses in Chicago.....Dulles....Denver...and St Louis. Try all you want...you can't stop us.

Bye the way......keep your jumpseat....I commute and have NEVER had a problem coming from Denver.

that is one of the funniest Fing things I've ever seen. I've seen the freaks you call pilots lots in Chicago, and I've never seen one walk proudly down the concourse. Unless by proudly you mean with their heads down not wanting to make eye contact with anyone, their IDs turned around so no one can see who they work for.

Ho jets is not on my airlines jumpseat list, but I'll say again if they were I'd let them on. I will never use the jumpseat as a weapon. Even with a bunch of losers like them.

Yet again, another example of how petty the Anti -GoJet few are. They couldnt handle all the sentiment that was going on for the victims of the Comair accident and had to find some way to redirect the conversation back to the bashing of GoJet pilots. Hence the CASS lies. You have stooped to a new low.

this is pretty low - even for a GJ a-hole. You and your merry band of "scabs" are never getting on any plane where I'm part of the crew. I agree with PCl on this one.

For a scumbag to bring up the CMR incident as a way to redirect attention from youself is pretty low. I agree with Lear Love, even for a ho jet a-hole! Which name are you on the gay jets list?

I've said it before and I'll say it again; if you were really as proud as you claim to be, you wouldn't be posting every day saying how proud you are. You are an anonymous name. No one here knows who you are (luckily for you I suppose), yet you feel compelled to vigorously proclaim you pride and defend your job to hundreds of other similarly anonymous people.

Why the urgency? Why the desperation? You can try all you want to convince others how right or how proud you are.

Sadly, you really just need to convince yourself.

Out of any one, these guys and gals should have known better. Any street captain who went to GJ knew what they were doing. I'd bet that there are some 500 hour types in the right seat who honestly didn't know what they were doing, but the captains, no excuse.
