But wsurf, I thought you actually still cared about the peops' in the back...:D

btw, this particular incident apparently just happened last month.

What? No video of the actual incident? Those other pax were slacking.

Owners have to keep their barking dogs quiet. Parents should be responsible for their kids. Oh, I forget. No one is responsible for anything anymore. It's all about the children.

I guessing you don't have kids....

Seems everyone tolerates their own kids...just not others...

There is a line beween babys/kids being human and bad parenting.....

Now....where is that line...

I do have kids. Two of them. They both probably have more time in the back of the plane than most PSA/TSA FOs have in the front. From infancy, through toddlerhood to the teen/ preteens they are now I have never had a problem with them on an airplane. Is this because I am such a super parent my kids are perfect? Not even close. The problem is that there are so many lousy parents out there that get led around by their noses by there kids, it makes the rest of us normal parents look like geniuses.
Yes, babies cry and toddlers can sometimes be a handful, but that is no excuse for being a sucky parent. This lady is no different than litany of scumbags that we keep reading about every month or so. I don't buy a word of her story. You don't get kicked off an airplane because your kid was talking. God bless that flight attendant, she made the tough call.

Mom and the little darling were just on Good Morning American the kid was so rotten that they had to remove him from the set. Mom is obviously enjoying her 15 minutes of "fame".

The media loves nothing more than bashing airlines except maybe the military and religion.

good job to the FA

Yea I just watched it too willbob!!! I was laughing my a$$ off! That boy controls his mom, and she didn't do anything to help her case by going on the show!

I am sure there is more to this story then just "bye bye Plane"

Whenever a passenger is removed from a flight, the passengers ALWAYS claim they did nothing and it was the "rude crew" who caused the problem.

Since none of us were there, we have no right to Monday morning quarterback the decision.

I support the crew.

Hey Rez.....if, by some small itty bitty chance, one of my eggs does survive the black hole.......since you have so much patience and love for these little gifts of life......when I am about ready to shoot myself in the head from the screaming and tantrums....can I bring him or her over to your house for a break? :D

Will ya help a sista out?

All she proved today is that her kid is a nasty brat after all.

And it appears from her "testimony" that the kid was interrupting her safety brief to the point that the other pax couldn't hear her. Sounds like interfering in a crewmember's duties to me. The FA was justified except that she should have withheld the crack about "baby benedryl".
