So you are saying you've worked in an inner city ER...or you watch ER for seven seasons?

So... now you can do the FA's job better....

Yes. I was an ER nurse for 8 years.

No, I would be fired my first day dealing with passengers. I just know lazy when I see it.

Still arguing different points.... but you want to get personal?
I'm arguing the very points that define the debate at hand. Child behavior. Pax rights. FA duties. Pointing out that you shouldn't be so quick to condemn the FA when you don't know a dam thing that happened.
Now its a womanism thing...? all sisters stick together huh....
Now rez, I know you'd like to paint me as being sexist or otherwise biased but all I pointed out here were a few facts. It is a woman with a child that was affected here. There were two female pax interviewed here. It is more likely that 2 female pax will be able to relate to and thus sympathize with the mother over the airline. Would you really deny this observation? And just to make a point... you probably shouldn't infer that I'm sexist then turn around and call Mega a "chick". Hello pot.
Was there a guy?
Yes rez. There was a guy. Or were you not paying attention again during that part of the womans interview? They say it a couple of times. "Then the FA leans over the guy sitting next to me and tells me I need to shut my baby up". Or something like that.

And if so.. then he must have a counter version.... But what?? He is afraid of the Oprah Army? Afraid me might become the antagonist on Lifetime?
I can see this was lost on you so I'll type it again. Read it slower this time. Does Continental have their own television show? Do they have their own public newspaper that they might use to give their own story spin treatment too? No they don't. This story came to you from a news agency trying to make a profit just a shamelessly and patheticly as you try to make an arguement. They are going to give the story that sells. Maybe they don't want you to hear the guys version (and again, yes, we know it's a guy) because it will undermine the story they're trying to sell the ignorant masses. Don't group yourself in with the ignorant masses so readily until you've at least heard the airlines side. There was a guy and you don't know what his story is. Still confused?

Of course I realize I can.....
Are you sure rez? Are you absolutely sure you understand this simple concept? Because this little doozy of an ignorant gem -
In addition a company can't deny human beings travel on a public service....
- would indicate to anybody that can read that you didn't understand that. Or are you unfamiliar with the accepted definition of what a "human being" is? Or maybe you don't see the difference between airline travel and "travel on a public service". Nobody has a "right" to fly anymore then anybody has a "right" to drive. Far less in fact. Ever hear of a "no fly list"? That's when they have yanked somebody's "right" to fly away permanently. I just want to make it absolutely clear that either you didn't know what the hell you were talking about or at best made an incredibly stupid, off the cuff, ignorant, ill thought out statement.

but I don't have an ego that needs to say.... "Yeah, I had to kick someone off my flight..." And if I did I'd consider it not therapeutic......

It's not an ego that tells you it's time to remove a passenger. It's this little thing called safety. Are you equally afraid to point out a crewmembers mistakes because you're afraid it will show you have an ego? What else will you not do in the name of safety to protect your fragile image? See what it feels like to give the boot to a guy that slips past the gate agent drunk then proceeds to turn around and grope another passenger. If you describe it as anything less then "therapeutic" then you are not really a "human being".

So if she was such a good mother, why did she subject him to that?

I never said she was a good mother. I have no idea. I can only guess that the GMA people wanted them both on TV and assuming this was her first time on a TV show she probably didn't know any better. But again the TV show is irrelevant to whether the FA was justified or not.

But this is where you are wrong.... I do know what happened. I don't have the FAs side of the story, but I do know what happened.

Now rez, I know you'd like to paint me as being sexist or otherwise biased but all I pointed out here were a few facts.

Ok, so I don't know a dam thing that happened but YOU know the facts... got it.....

And yet mega the impaler is ready to kill..... she is so feminine and motherly!!

Would you really deny this observation? And just to make a point... you probably shouldn't infer that I'm sexist then turn around and call Mega a "chick". Hello pot.

That is called sacrasm...... mega is dying to be a 1950's housewife.... but her 60"s and 70's conditioning is causeing a train wreck in her mind... But she will be ok.... don't worry about her... in the end she is all right and pretty cool....

Yes rez. There was a guy. Or were you not paying attention again during that part of the womans interview? They say it a couple of times. "Then the FA leans over the guy sitting next to me and tells me I need to shut my baby up". Or something like that.

Thanks.... now I don't have to watch the video again. You da man...

So if the news media can bring in a counter opinion and raise the controversy even more they, according to you would not..... you're a real gem. Ever read a newspaper... go to the editorial section and read the debate/opinion section....

Cute man cute.... you'd be a real challenge to the high school debate team.....

To be on a no fly list there must be a reason.... In my opinion, there is no reason to deny the woman and child.. as others have stated. Bad move by the FA.

Is that the truth? We will see....

I just want to make it absolutely clear that either you didn't know what the hell you were talking about or at best made an incredibly stupid, off the cuff, ignorant, ill thought out statement.

Are you addressing me or the other posters that have the same opinion as me. The FA screwed up...

It's not an ego that tells you it's time to remove a passenger. It's this little thing called safety.

Safety is not an issue here... its a poor FA.

Are you equally afraid to point out a crewmembers mistakes because you're afraid it will show you have an ego?

I don't know...am I? Will you tell me please? I have to fly today and you've really attacked my confidence...

What else will you not do in the name of safety to protect your fragile image?

Or will do!

Should I be the man that you are and beat him?

When I was a kid I was quiet when told to be cause I knew that my dad would beat the holy dog snot out of me if I acted like a fool.

Oh yeah, abortion should be legal till the kid is at least 10 years old.
