Passing on a Pool call?

What do companies normally say when one pass' on the "first" pool call? How many times before they say...so long!

I would guess the days of negotiating start dates at NJA are gone. Emergencies excluded of course. I would assume the same at Flex and CS.

If you are trying to weigh one company against another, I suggest you make a decision quick.
