OK, time for the dorky post of the week. How many uniforms does everyone carry with them on a trip? In other words, how many shirts and pants do you take for two-, three-, and four-days?

2 uniform shirts, 1 regular shirt
1 pair of work pants, 1 regular
Bathing suit
rubbers (ya never know)
toiletry kit
socks and unda-pants

1 pair of work pants
1 pair of jeans or khakis
1 work shirt for every 2-3 days
1 white T-shirt (undershirt) for every working day
1 pair of underwear every day (it's true Mom)
1 pair of work socks for every working day
Bathing suit
Shorts
Tennis shoes
Tube socks
Collared shirt
Normal T-shirt/Sweatshirt if it's winter
Book
Trail Mix
Cell Phone
Headphones
Palm Pilot w/ 2 hours of fresh music per trip & solitaire

You gotta be kidding me

I've been travelling for almost six weeks.

After those posts I'm embarrassed to admit how little I pack.

I look at it like a camping trip. What's the LEAST I can SURVIVE with.

I usually fly four-day trips, so three uniform shirts, two pairs of uniform pants. I'll normally wear the same pants the whole trip, unless it's extremely hot (sweat) or I spill something on them. One shirt per two-days. One as a back-up. I used to be a shirt-per-day guy, but that's just too much stuff.

1) fresh undies for each day, and if I have room an extra day's worth (for an unexpected problem on the last day, or if I poop myself, hasn't happened yet though...)
2) one fresh uniform shirt for each day in the summer, one for every two days in the winter
3) one change of street clothes, including sneakers
4) bathroom kit
5) cell-phone charger and headset
6) whatever book I'm reading at the moment

if I have room...

7) workout clothes, if the planned overnight has a decent workout room and I'm feeling motivated to use it
8) a jacket that doesn't make me look like a crewmember (ie. navy blue trenchcoat)
9) road food

pretty light packer, oftentimes in the summer (with lighter clothes) I only have half my suitcase filled, but for a long trip (which I fortunately don't do often anymore), I often have to take an extra smaller "man-purse" for my food.

You wear the same shirt three days in a row? Do you do laundry on the road? If not....EEEWWWWWWW!

Hahaha that's funny, everybody I know wears the same shirt for the entire trip, I mean, all we do is keep the seat warm...

I agree wit mar, as little as possible, but plenty of underwear and white shirts.

No wonder I saw so many guys at Eagle with ring around the collar. They never changed their shirts!

That's true, and looks bad too. I carry an extra shirt for when that happens.

I carry a white T-shirt for each day, but one work shirt for every 3 days in the winter and 2 days in the summer. I iron my shirts at night on the road. To alleviate the ring around the collar, I usually undo my tie and top button once airborne, then tidy up again on the ground before we open the door.

Sorry, can't remember...

We haven't had an overnight since January. I'm not even sure where my Purdy Neat is.

I'm impressed with the guys who put on a fresh uniform shirt every day. I where mine two days at least, three if I'm lazy, and I've been known to stretch one to four days. I wear the pants for at least a month before washing them. It's really just because I hate to iron a new shirt every day. Yes, I'm that lazy. I do wear a clean undershirt and other unmentionables every day.

4 day= 1 shirt for 2 days each, same with socks and undershirts, 4th day morning skip the shave! And, I fly commando, everyday!

I only have 2 pairs of work pants and I dry-clean them every 3 months. The blazer also gets dry-cleaned every 3 months (at least during the colder months when I actually wear it). I take one shirt per trip, and don't take an extra. If I spill something on it, hopefully I have a blazer or trench coat to cover it up while I'm in public. I bring a fresh undershirt (full size white-T) for everyday, so the sweat usually isn't a big problem.

I've only had one captain so far complain that I smell. That was on the 4th day of a 4 day trip with the same shirt on. On the first day I prespired quite a bit because I had to do some jogging thanks to a 15-minute callout from scheduling while sitting airport standby. That capt. also complained that my shirt was too wrinkled, but he promised not to put that in my probationary pilot report. Thank you sir.
