I ran out of Viagra, again...

Don't worry AA73 there isn't a professional pilot flying today who doesn't have a "little something" shoved up his A.S.S. from the APA that he wouldn't mind retuning ...;)

Put yourself in the Captain's position and tell me exactly what you would've done...

I am a Captain, I have flown into AUS and have had to deal with the the same ramp personnel and station manager who are directly responsible for this embarassing debacle.

As a Captain put into this situation, being parked on the ramp where this aircraft was parked and not allowed to proceed to a gate, I would have lowered the rear stairs and personally escorted one at a time small groups of passengers across the 150 yards of ramp and up the jetbridge stairs at Gate 15. For those passengers that were unable to walk I would have commandeered one of the AA golf carts that are parked on the ramp in AUS used by AA ramp personnel to move between the gates and aircraft parked on the remote hardstands. I can assure you that I would have accomplished this well before I subjected any of my passengers to an 8+ hour sit on an aircraft that was without proper sanitary facilities and water.

Right now for the next hour Bill O'reilly is doing a radio piece about the AA flight last month that was stuck on the tarmac at AUS. Below is a link for a local affilate finder.

I'm listening now and he's really tearing up AA MANAGEMENT and felt sorry for the pilots and FA's. He's also calling for the AIRLINES TO BE REGULATED BY THE FEDS. So much for him being labeled a conservative!!

He's always said he's independent. However I see him as republican and it's fun to watch his show then watch Bill Maher's show. Though I find Maher just like's to bash a lot more.
