I posted similar to this on the Options board but thought I'd try here also...
Any ex-Mesaba pilots out there who'd be willing to walk in my resume to Eric for me? Actually any pilot with Options will do, doesn't have to be former XJ. I'm about to get furloughed AGAIN and I've been trying to get on with FO for a while now with no luck. I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me out.
Thanks for reading this :)

Be careful what you wish for. The company will try to push you over to Flex where they have no protection(CBA). The FAA has expressed their concern over the high rate of first time failures. Most get retrained but some get sent back to Options with the pink slip in their PRIA records. Just a heads up.

And now who's spreading fertilizer like a farmer...

The pass rate of new hires at FJ was beyond great until they started hiring Options pilots.

New hires off the street haven't had their senses dulled by decades of "contract training" and waived maneuvers, they'll do just fine.

And who at the FAA has expressed anything? Any proof, anything at all? Nope, just more crap being spread by pilots with an agenda.

Our POI does talk to our training dept.

I believe that's the same POI that observed the FJ training and found no problems at all.

I'm sure all those "check rides" in the airplane have made them into the pilots they are.

The schedule is: ground School, systems integration, 4 or 5 sims, a practice check, and a check ride. What is so hard about that. Why does it take some guys 8 sims to get ready? More over, why is it after 6 months of flying the plane they come back and choke?

The really interesting question is, how is it after all the training and still not passing a check ride, they are able to slide back into the left seat at FO and fly like nothing has happened at all?

But all will be better when we're just 1 big dysfunctional family.
