It's a crap contract. I wouldn't touch that for less than 12k a month. It's paying half that plus housing that might get you a studio in Jakarta.

What drove me away from that gig was no possibility of upgrade, and I certainly don't need any more CRJ right-seat time, got plenty of that already.

This has been around for a while. The pay is pretty low and they do not pay for transportation to training or interviews. They also ask for a million things that most regionals don't normally provide, like certified logbooks stamped by your chief pilot, etc.

I'm going through training right now in Japan with ANA(AJX) and had two guys in class for Radio Law and Air Law with me who are going to IBEX. Both hired as Captains. I looked at the link above, and I can say the money is not that great. I think they were getting around $6500.00/mo USD and a commuting allowance of $1600.00. Not that great. As with any contract gig, do your homework. They look good on paper, but end up being crap.

Both these guys were in the dark as far as when/where/and how long initial training was. They didn't even know where they would do sim training. There are a lot of contract jobs over here, but do your research if you're serious about making the jump!
