Dude,
This guy is not a pro pilot, he's a anti union hack posing as a manager/pilot. When the real pilots on the board started calling him on his bullsh!t he clammed up. All of us have opinions and no one gets trashed for their opinion if it appears that they are who they are selling. Bob was holding him self and his current company as all the reasons that a union was bad. The real pilots on here simply asked him to put some fact behind his claims. Like what is this great non union aviation company he works for. Is this so extreme that he can't answer? What he was slammed for was pretending to be something that he wasn't just to advance his anti union views and then admitting that he had other identities on this board to help him further his anti union BS.
Professional Pilot......NOT
I “clammed up” as you say because the mob mentality of unions got stupid with the posts. I go to over the pond like I do pretty much every month and don’t post for a week, and everybody is “claiming victory” that they drove me off the board.
There isn’t a single thing that I’ve ever said about my background that is false, and I’ve repeatedly stated that the answers to your questions are within my prior posts. I’ve repeatedly stated that I haven’t flown in years, was a former flight operations manager with a legacy carrier, have been laid off twice by union activity and have seen unions from an angle that very few have on this board. I got tired of repeating myself to those union mongering boneheads that have chosen to believe I lied about my experiences.
I’m not going to summarize over and over because you and the others don’t want to pay attention and choose to gang up on me because I have different experiences than you do. I’m not going to say where I work, because I don’t need the bullsh*t that goes along with it and the sudden thought that the local teamsters will find another location to create a revenue stream.
I don’t have anything to prove, but I think it’s important to state that unions are not the end all to aviation happiness. They have disrupted and ruined just as many careers than have helped them. No union on the property, no disruptions.
To prove my point about mob mentality, this is only my second post since mid-November, yet this thread is still alive like I was posting every day. Stupid, just stupid.
I’m going back into my cocoon now to see whatever it is the union mentality will conjure up this time to attempt to discredit me further. I hope that pilots currently in non-union situations are reading this thread. Look how they have ganged up on me with a mob-mentality because I didn’t agree with them. Look at how they want to pressure all of their fellow pilots that are not in agreement with them so they can get what they think is important, not what you think is important.
In the big scheme of things, my personal layoffs and career redirections because of union activity is meaningless. Most importantly, those folks that want the real information can go to www.unionfacts.com to inform themselves properly.
