It is in our best interest if any nwa flying is done by pilots currently on the seniority lists of nwa, mesaba, and pinnacle. Shutting the door to further outsourcing is our collective goal.
If nwa can't do their business with the approximately 7000 pilots already in the system, then they should be shut down or replaced by the court.
That is the point DTW320 is trying to make, I think. And I agree. The changes will be painful for many, but that is business.
For us at the airlink to whine about this or that is pure denial. We have NO security or career progression in the current system, and less under nwa mgmts. proposals.
