They did just pull the avro newhires off the latest revision to the next vacancy, but they are still hiring into the CRJ.

I've been hearing that this entire trip. Do you have a link/quote from something they published?

It's true...jetflier told me so. ;)

There is a string on this "So now what for Mesaba?" I paraphrase it for you. All avro's are bieng parked and we are firing all the avro FO's and CA's. Out of seniority order.

NWA has announced the parking of the Avros.

Any Mesaba pilots have any info to share?

Yeah, it's not bad though. At the same time they said all the Avros are being parked they said they are furloughing all NWA pilots, so we can fly your Airbus and Boeing birds.

In other words, do your research before you make stupid statements.

What is NW going to use to fly the Avro's current load? DC-9's???? Yeah, that will save them a ton in gas money. It also costs them the same to pay the three FAs on the 9 as it does to pay the Avro CA and FO. They'll be around unitl mainline pilots turn loose of their scope to save some of their retirement, and then Mesaba will replace them with a more efficient 70+ seater and more of them.

Avro's are on the Ch 11 papers for return to the lessor, read we want to pay less for the A/C.

NW owns 10 of the RJ-85's. The other 25 are leased. Its pretty hard to renogotiate the terms on aircraft you already own.

Wtf is crew planning doing at the main offices on the weekend? a saturday night? "Planning"?!?! They obviously know something. Hate to be in their shoes tomorrow morning when they get flooded with phonecalls.

Dodge,

What will you put in the place of "four engines are nice"?
