Jetliner slides off runway at Lansing; no one hurt
LANSING, Mich. Ninety passengers and crew members escaped injury when a Northwest Airlines jet slid off a snow-slickened runway tonight at Lansing's Capital City Airport.
Flight 1933 from Detroit was landing when the mishap took place about 5 pm.
Deputy airport director Helen Schlientz says an undetermined number of flights were delayed or canceled because of the mishap.
