More judges setup by Republicans. Lovely.

Rich get richer, poor get poorer.

As soon as the democrats pull their heads out of their arses and stop backing abortion rights, I'll be happy to vote for them. But that's another brawl for another forum. Cheers!

Last time I checked, FEDERAL judges were appointed by the party in office, not the party that was the majority in the last election. Anyone know when this sob was appointed?
P.S. what do you care what others do with their unborn fetuses? If you are against abortions, don't have one. Typical right wing, air-head, control freak. You guys make such great captains.

Recently, Mesaba submitted a bid to Northwest to fly new jets. But Costello said Mesaba's costs were in the middle of eight bidders. Its proposal incorporated the 19.4 percent labor cuts but still wasn't the low bid, she said.
Ummm... I wasn't aware that Northwest had announced the results of the RFP, how does SHE know Mesaba wasn't the low bid?

Interesting comment.

And PLEASE don't let this degenerate into a political catfight. Go argue abortion rights somewhere else.

Just read in the StarTribune Business section the judge is siding with MGT on the 19% paycuts and states MAIR's money is not our money. Another swift kick between our legs.... :erm:

The judge did not side with manegement about the 19% paycuts. The judge ruled that the balance sheet at MAIR is not relevant to the bankruptcy at Mesaba. This was not unexpected as the transfer of money up to the holding company is commonly accepted in coporate accounting.

I stick with my assertation that this judge will not throw out any Mesaba contracts. This would be a landmark case in bankruptcy law and I doubt this guy wants to be remembered as the guy who pushed so many well trained professionals into poverty.

First of all, all politicians hate labor. It's not a Republican or Democrat thing. Not a single one of them care about any of us. The liberals have just fooled themselves into believing that the Democrats actually care about the little people. Delusion at its worst. Never vote based on what you think they'll do for labor, because they won't do anything for you after they're elected. Vote on the other issues.

Cold-blooded murder tends to bother me a little bit. I guess I'm just funny like that.

Very true. Democrats could care less about pilots. We ruin the environment with our fossil fuel guzzling toys. How can the liberal party align themselves with us pilots in good faith?

If the price of tickets stay at Target prices, people will be happy. All politicians will take the credit and us pilots in the very very very small minority of the population will be the ones who suffer.
