That "no furlough" language worked SOOO well at the majors.

Along with minimum block hours... minimum fleet count... minimum Captain positions...

Yup. you guys should be in good shape.

Chap 11 and everything changes for Comair and Delta. Just pointing out that there will be no furloughs until a BK judge says so or they want to revert to the pay scale prior to the MOU.
Has the reduction slowed or halted the mainline callbacks ?

No, because we have lost 2500 Captains in 15 months. 2500 Captains. Amazing. And, we have only brought back 10 recalls a month (not enough IMO), to "ensure" not furloughing twice. We are very very short, and even our last large bid reflected the loss of the 12 762s. We had 56 FOs bid out of the ATL 767 DOM FO, and only 6 were replaced. 50 spots were lost. Then a week later, we had another 200 Captains retire, giving 24 hours notice.

Btw, thanks for the airplanes. We will enjoy them. Hopfully we will put them to good use.

They aren't that great. They truely are MX hogs. And, I think we will be selling them to you and also doing contract mx on them in the future.. That will give us some profits no doubt.

Bye Bye--General Lee
